Behringer Xenyx 1002FX podcast



I bought this Behringer Xenyx 1002FX on ebay and it was a total bargain. Comes in with the original box, manual, power supply and functioning rather perfect.  Really 100% clean and seems like brand new.  Very lucky purchase for me, and might as well for you guys just use the eBay search tab on the right hand side of this blog and search for your most love and needed gadgets and you might get the best deal for it.

Now going back to this item, I bought this because I needed a mixer that has a builtin FX for my mini PA, which is ION center stage because it doesn't have any FX on mic input.  This is a big help also when I am performing with just guitar, mic and backing tracks via laptop, this Xenyx 1002FX is just the answer to it.  It really serves the purpose.

Also it is worth mentioning that I also got a home recording studio and doing some experimental stuff and this one is a big contribution in terms of FX and mixing my recording plus additional inputs.  Plus I am doing a podcast at the moment and this comes very handy.  I tried it using my guitar and the sound that's coming out is very warm, clean and just nice..... only to find out that Behringer mic preamps are designed and comparable to stand-alone Boutique Amplifier, which is very nice with guitar.

Lastly, for aspiring DJ like myself, this Behringer Xenyx is perfect because not only it is small just the size of a netbook..... well, I am using a netbook case actually for this Xenyx 1002, meaning it is so portable and it can fit in your backpack along side with your laptop or netbook plus the inputs and outputs you needed are all there.  No problem with the FX because you got builtin FX from simple reverb to delays and chorus, phaser and flanger.  You can even monitor your sound via headphone with an independent volume control.

Thanks ebay for this total bargain that I bought.  This is trully a value for money experience for me.

Front Act on Introvoys Concert in Roxas City

We were invited to do a front act on Introvoys Concert in Roxas.  During those time, Introvoys was a big hit especially with their song Line To Heaven and Will I Survive to name afew. There were a lot of bands that time who's going to front act and I can't remember exactly the names but there's one that I can still remember and it's called Freaky Deaky, not sure if the spelling is correct. How to export MP3 in EnergyXT

Energy XT file save as MP3 The first thing we need to do in order to export our file, loop, clip, song or project into MP3 is to download and install LAME file to EnergyXT program.   Here’s the link where to download the LAME codec   http://lame.sourceforge.net/ Here’s another site where you can download LAME file.   http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php After successfully downloading the LAME exe file.   Copy it and paste it in your EnergyXT folder.   Normally the directory will be like this C:\Program Files\Energy XT\energyXT 2.5 for Windows Try and open now your EnergyXT and save or export file as MP3 to see if it works.

My DIY pedalboard

I am using an improvised setup for my effects and gadgets.  At the moment what Im using is a Digitech RP55 guitar processor and I bought on ebay an M-Audio expression pedal and sort of opened it and changed some polarity inside to match my Digitech foot pedal and it was a success.  I can now use the pedal either as a wah or whammy.  I was quite pleased with it because not only it's a small one but it's got a big punch. So much for that.  Now, having two pedals; a multieffects processor with the expression pedal connected to it, I think a pedalboard is a necessity.  Why?  Because the two pedals keep moving about and I had to kick it each time so that they are close to each other. What to do then?
